I am not qualified to comment on the quality of the painting, but I will say a few things about the topic of the painting, female feticide. Female selective abortion is common practice in China and your country, India. It is cruel and evil. It naturally stems from the cruel and evil practice of abortion.

Female selective abortion will have profound effects on the world, as women become scarce. Men will wage wars. Women will be further suppressed in democracies because of their decreased voting numbers, and in undemocratic countries because the powerful will want to control the scarce resource. Abortion, ostensibly justified to empower women, will ultimately weaken them. How ironic.

Some states in the US are considering passing laws that will prohibit sex selective abortion. I'm not sure these laws will hold up in court, because if you have a constitutional right to an abortion for any reason, why can't you abort for sex selection. We selectively abort handicapped children. Even if these laws are passed, it would be a hard thing to prove that sex selection was the reason for an abortion.

We reap what we sow. Abortion is evil, and evil is what evil does.

Surprising, female foeticide and even Ultrasound for the purpose of sex dtermination is illegal in India. However, the practice defies law, and some doctors offer this service under the veil that - If they write the report with a green pen, it's a boy, and if they write the report with a red, it's a girl. Incidentally, red is the color of blood. How ironic!
