I'm far from complaining aboutt my score and favorite but only got three comments which seems really low in comparison to others.

Something of a mystery to me. In the image info section of my challenge entry I've placed thumbs of the sepia toned image and the grayscale image. They are dramatically different on my monitor. I'll be interested in whether (after the challenge voting is over) people still say there is too little sepia. Of course, it could be MY monitor. That would be information I need to know.

yea... I'm now confused...because mine was in the dumper- and its now at a 5.5 which makes me think they should stop voting now before it goes back to the dumper...

This challenge has made me quite edgy and I can't figure out why.
I should go through the images and see if I should bump any up.

The mystery continues with another DNMC comment. I've had an independent viewer look at the challenge submission next to a grayscale of same. "Quite a difference..." , the person said. So, the mystery is why some monitors are not showing the sepia toned image as sepia. Of course, the people who are voting low and commenting on the absence of sepia tone may mean the image is not sepia enough for them. I agree it is subtle, but that was my choice. But, to say it "is not sepia" tells me there's a problem with monitor calibration. |

Well, two hours from rollover, it's definitely not brown.... but it's not Blue, Red or Yellow either.

currently within .0050 of making my profile page, and not sure how i feel about it, as it would be nice for a new shot, but it would knock my absolute favorite off...guess im stayin up for rollover...
eta: one minute later hit with a 3 to make the point moot...now well under my #5, i guess i asked for it, didn't i? :)

I just received 2 votes of 3 in the last ten minutes..so you are not alone....this kind of voting has been happening more and more lately...and it just so happens my score was 6.0077...now it has no chance to get back up to a 6...(this happened a few weeks ago also)
ETA..received a 4.....so a 6 image with 50 minutes to go in the Challenge is now getting 3's and 4's
