Hellooooo,

I need to replace a sky. I can usually do it fine but on this picture the sky has lots of wispy things on it and it is not easy to just mask out.

Anyone have any tips?

Thanks,

KS

Luminosity masks?
Is it for a challenge or can you post it up here?

I wouldn't be legal for a challenge unless it is Expert Editing.

Yes I know...I was just clarifying in case others may have thought it was allowed in non-Expert challenges.

Do you know how to do luminosity masks?
It can be a bit tricky so with a day and a half left for the challenge I wish you the best of luck.
Results depend on what the initial image looks like so I'm not sure how it will work on your image.
Read Tony Kuyper Website Tutorials when you have time.
I will also be willing to help (via PM if you want to use pictures).

Wow, this is a great tutorial. I'll have to try these methods when I get home.
