I felt compelled to elaborate. In looking at the past Calendar challenges, it appeared many top scorers had more to the title than simply the name of the month.

I don't know why it bothers me but it does. It didn't affect my votes because I know people do it and have in the past, but mine is titled just the month, cause that's what the directive was. Funny too, cause I hate people telling me what to do. LOL |

To me, the concept of taking a photo during one specific week and having it reflect a month other than the current is a little far-fetched.
It's almost a free study without meaningful titles.
My score is 6.29 after 27 votes.

I was torn on that quip in the description. To me, it's good to include the month in the title, but the entire title just being the month seems like a waste of creativity. Plus, most calendars with pretty photos seem to give a title for each month's photo, so it made sense to give an extra bit of a title.
Didn't affect my voting either, I just wanted to share my thoughts. |

that's a way to be......... out of flat, fantastic single word photo. let's move forward.....

After 100 votes it smooths out a bit more.
example
10 votes with a score of 6.4 - get a 1 vote = 5.909
30 votes with a score of 6.4 - get a 1 vote = 6.225
80 votes with a score of 6.4 - get a 1 vote = 6.333
130 votes with a score of 6.4 - get a 1 vote = 6.358
