I try to avoid verbosity, but do exceed the maximum length of photo comments and forum posts on occasion. (Sometime I just have a lot to say!) I don't know exactly what the limit is, but I'd like to see it increased by at least 25% (or more if feasible).

There's a limit?

I thought there was only a limit as to how much is displayed in the Preview Post window.

That's possible. I always Preview my posts, and adjust them when they get truncated in that window. I guess I've never tried actually posting one that was longer than the Preview Post window could handle. Thanks.

The clue for me was when the break came in the middle of some code, like to a link. Because the closing tag was truncated the opening tag would appear in clear text, like this:

... blah blah blah [img]//pBas.....

I think you get timed-out when it takes to loog to write the post. If I write over two paragraphs, I always (when I remember) copy the whole post to the clipboard so I can do it over if I get disconnected.

I just wrote about 20 page-ups of a post and it posted fine. So....if there's a technical limit, it's LONG.

I've never been times out until I pased "test" about 1000000 times, heheh. It only took about 15 seconds to write, but it was sending for about 5 minutes, then came up with "this page cannot be displayed.
