Ha....
My average vote received since joining DPC is 5.4239. This was done with a D70, D90, and a D700.
My average vote received using my Droid as of today is 5.64
Maybe I should have saved some money and just went with a P&S !
How about you? |

Set that fancy camera on auto and rock and roll. DSLR's give you too many options. Options = more opportunities to f*** something up.

I say you should follow this hot trend and take it to the next level. I think a Barbie Glam-Cam is the logical evolution. You'll probably ribbon.

| Like Chase Jarvis says, the best camera is the one you have with you. |

I have an old Polaroid digital. I think it is 640x480 (308k pixels?) I may pull that out the closet !

Some things should stay in the closet, much like Yo_spiff and his Barbie Glam Cam :)
Seriously though, some of the new P&S cameras are getting quite sophisticated. One even has an f/2.8 lens. I can't remember which it is, but it also has a hot shoe.

Canon G12...The "G" series Canon's have always had fast lenses and hot shoes.
The smaller Canon S95 has a f2.0 lens
Both have M, T, A exposure modes as well. |
