Any suggestions for a good system for cleaning sensor and lenses?

I don't think it's recommended but I use a hand air blower and it seems to get more dust out than other methods i've tried such as the copperhill method. That seems to be the most common and all it is is a sensor swap that you pass over the sensor with a few drops of 'eclipse' liquid that eliminates the dust. Like this one. It took me about 4 swabs per cleaning to end up getting all the dust off, maybe I was doing it wrong but at that price it is quite costly.

my delkin SensorScope 2 will be arriving tomorrow; i'll have a full review shortly as i've got a few chunks of crud i haven't been able to remove and i'm tired of chasing them around.

Be VERY careful with those delkin swabs.. I have had 2 mishaps using them. the scope is very cool and I still use it today but throw the swabs in the bin TRUST ME. the fluid is hmmm ok'ish but I now use visable dust swabs and Eclipse fluid and only use the delkin scope.. your call but if I were you I'd be ultra careful with those swabs if you decide to use them.

this is the system I have...here is an example before and after...bear in mind that I also cleaned my lens at the same time....

before cleaning....

after....

amazing difference...

I am very interested in where you get the other swabs and solution, what type of swabs are they etc...I haven't had a problem in the past...but this sounds like good solid advice for sure...I LOVE the scope...it works pretty well on the lens too...

what type of 'mishaps'? a little more specifics, if you don't mind. did you actually damage anything? i'd just like to get a better handle on what i'm getting into...

Sensor cleaning kit

This is what I am looking at now. Anyoneever use the pens?

I have used those pens before. Now, I use visible dust swabs and their liquids. I just did not like the idea, of dry cleaning the sensor. Especially if you reuse the tips. Just asking for contamination, in my opinion. Plus you will work harder, to remove the same spot. Liquid will help loosen the debris. Letting you use less force, to remove the debris. Probably less wear and tear on the sensor too. Way more effective also.

I also use an Arctic Butterfly. Good for pulling out loose dust, in the camera and sensor area. Better than blowing air, as that my force dust in the pentaprism.

Lens wise, I like the old school cleaning papers. Combined with a liquid, nothing has worked better for me. Micro fibre is great. But personally, I like knowing when I pull out a sheet of paper, its clean and won't cause streaking.
I guess I'm not big into reusing products.
