128GB CF card?

Do you really need that much space of storage in your camera?

I suppose you might if you're shooting a lot of video... also, the upcoming generation of DLSRs is rumored to have resolutions in the 28Mpx range, which should generate RAW files of about 30 MB. That's roughly 30 pics per GB, which gives about... oh my, that's still 3,000 images per card, LOL!

The Hasselblad H4D-60 produces 80MB RAW files, and even that would take a while to fill the card.

Of course, the damn card costs as much as a mid-level APS-C body!

The funny thing about this is I just need one more 8GB card so I've been looking for a fast card and I got this e-mail from Adorama and I thought cool a sale I'll pick one up, then saw the smallest on sale is 16GB! Uggh The D3s and D3 both hold two CF cards so I was going to mate two 8GB cards in each one and have 32 GB between the two...now I just need one card and swap it back and forth and even as much as I shoot I can make it a month without a format!
