It's been done. Wait-- let me check for sure....
...I stand corrected. Speedos don't really count as clothing. |

Did I really leave the only comment during the challenge? That in itself is kind of pitiful. 4.6 isn’t typically brown territory (as has been pointed out), but I thought the caliber of entries was pretty high. I liked it; I thought it had some interesting compositional qualities – the diagonal, the distribution of people along it, the man pointing. What it lacked was a punchline. For instance, if the woman front and center had had a bird on her head, then we’d be talking hardcore. The unfortunate crop would then certainly have been forgivable.
Would this have helped your score? Probably not. I had a momentary lapse and forgot what the challenge was about when I voted and commented on your image. So I̢۪m just expanding on my in-challenge thoughts a bit...

Suggestions off the top of my head: Road Kill, People's Feet, Laundry on a clothesline, rocks, manhole covers, cloud formations, kids with missing teeth, mud sculptures, gourmet desserts, naked mole rats. |
Hey! Dibs on Rocks.
This one nearly got me the brown back in 2006.
Zen, indeed.

exactly, normally brown territory is below 4, quite close to 3 and half. I made a big mistake in a previous challnge and got a vote between 3 and 4 and did not get the brown. Anyhow, need to survive as well....... thanks for the advise, btw |
