Very interesting point, and a good reason to comment more. It's hard to be objective about our own pix, but commenting on other photos will definitely hone our ability to look with a critic's eye. Thanks for your comment,  Melethia.
I feel the score I received is very fair, considering it was in serious need of some editing. |

DPC works in strange ways. I've had pictures that have fared better but received very few (or no) comments ...and now with 6 comments, this one's struggling to break 5!

Love getting comments with editing suggestions on a minimal editing challenge. Nothing I don't agree with however, and I had already planned on minor edits before it goes onto Flickr.

6.18 and I'm incredibly pleased with the score. It's technically flawed, and I expected it to be much, much lower. But I thought the scene was incredibly special. I'm so glad that it connected with some others as well as with me.
What a fun challenge! |

I'm super duper happy with mine. And the amount of wonderful comments. It will definitely rearrange my front page. Slowly making my way back up to where I was. |
