Interesting... I know this has been tried before by another giant company but interesting none the less. Just putting it out there cause it might turn out to have legs. |

Interesting. Maybe it will gain more traction than JPEG2000 did.

Yeah jp2 was only really pushed from Microsoft from memory but might have been others.... This one gives a decent improvement in compression over jpg and even jp2 so might be more interesting but irrelevant until Adobe and the non gecko/webkit browsers support them.... but may never happen if your browser starts with "IE" :-) |
