I was having wi-fi issues earlier, and thought I'd change the wifi channel to something else in case there was interference. But to which channel?

Well, I found this website that scans wifi devices in range, and tells you what channel they're using so you can pick a clear one for yourself. Very useful. It helped me anyway.

The link want to store something on my computer. Not happy with that :( Perhaps it's a good app, but not on my PC.

Ditto. I told it to go away.

It's web-based, so needs access to your wi-fi card in order to work. Which is why you get that certificate prompt (like any java applet that requires access to resources outside of your browser)

Anyway - Like all things on the internet, caveat emptor, buyer beware, click at your peril. :)
