I just got PS7 and was wondering if there was a "clipboard" or something on there where I would be able to store 5 or 6 images and repeatedly drop and drag them onto one central image?
Am I making any sense?
Thanks in advance if I am.
Sorry if I'm not. |

If you mean like the MS Office clipboard, not that I know of. One way would be to just layer via copy, then you have multiple instances, and they would be on seperate layers too. |

Just open all the images you want to use, then create a new file with the dimensions you want to use, select the Move tool and just drag from each image onto the central image. Original images are unaffected this way and can be closed afterwards. |

Just make sure your have a lot of RAM :P Don't forget to flatten after you are finish to make the file smaller.

Depends on what you need the images for. If you just want to quickly get a group of photos all on the same page, try Contact Sheet II in the Automate section of the File menu. |

Between Photoshop Actions and Automate>Batch you should be able to easily create a script that opens each image and pastes it into a circle, then puts them all on one page where they would appear on separate layers that you can move around. Actions are pretty easy to create and use- no programming knowledge required. |
