Hi all, sorry to hijack the forums with something as lowly as this but I'm struggling to figure out if my screen is calibrated anywhere near properly. Photoshop seems to think not, and tells me so whenever I open a new file. I'm not exactly sure how to sort it properly but I've been making do - however this has meant I've had to do a bit of guesswork on the colours.

Normally this wouldn't be a major issue but it's for a wedding. I'm going to check through all of these properly on another monitor soon but I thought I'd ask quickly here first.

Are these shots abnormally yellow on your screens? Particularly in the sky area of both. On the duotone if this is anything but white there's something wrong!

Thanks!

J

The duotone sky looks white to me although the castle may veer a bit to cyan. The sky on the flower bouquet shot looks fine ,,just a bit washed out to the right although the grass seems to have a bit of yellow tint. I calibrate my Eizo with Color Eyes.

The sky in the castle looks a little yellow to me. But this space where I'm typing the comment look a little yellow too. So who knows. I have on white linen pants, and the sky and the space for typing are definitely not matching my pants. Probably my monitor is off. The wedding looks fine. I guess you could go into Photoshop and do a levels adjustment layer, pick the white eyedropper, and click on a pure white area in the image. See if that changes the overall shot.
