I would. Yes.
Providing a background screams studio to me |

I am quite excited about this challenge. I think the photo I took is one of my best DPC entries.
I'm excited about the number of entries, too. It will be nice to have a look at the range of different photos and peoples' interpretations of the flower.
I do hate the day before! 24 hours to go! I can't wait that long. lol. |

Good luck.
I quite like the way my shot has turned out as well but I won̢۪t be surprised if it falls in the bottom 10%. It may even get the brown but I̢۪m keeping it in. Sorry in advance if people don̢۪t like it but I do.

Bah! I had a one-hour window to shoot this morning and it rained. I'll be watching from the sideline. |

My biggest trouble is deciding which to choose, I have a new camera now, and love the photo's I've taken with it, but will stick to the photo from my old camera " oh decisions decisions I hate them".

After a couple weeks of snow and cold, there are only a few brave, early flowers around. They are beautiful, but sparse and spartan relative to the arrays of blooms 50 miles away in the temperate lower altitudes. So, I can drive a moderate distance to the bounty, or I can shoot the indigenous weaklings. With the price of gasoline still a burden, the most valuable flower is the one in my "backyard". |

Personally, I would find a lone crocus pushing up through the snow more "interesting" than a(nother) bunch of red roses ... |
