Between both of my jobs and my family I'm a pretty busy guy. But was asked by the local Fire Dept to help out with some photos of their fire crews on calls, I couldn't say no. So rather then capturing the news part of a fire/rescue call. I'm working with them to capture what the individual firefighters do on calls, the photos will be used on their website and for training purposes. I hope you don't mind but rather then fill up my portfolio I'm going to post a link to the Facebook album I have posted for the Fire department.

First Alarm turned five alarm. May 8

If you have never seen what these men and women do up close you will simply be amazed at the bravery it takes just to do their job. People are running out of burning buildings and they literally are running in.

Thanks.

Thanks guys. I really was surprised at just what these men and women do on a call like this. I've only been on two calls so far, the first was a three car, 7 injury, one fatality accident. It's amazing how multiple departments that don't train together work seamlessly side by side.

Wow what a great opportunity! How come they contacted you, have you worked with them previously?

I have several friends on the department and I work for the local newspaper, so they have seen my work. They had tried someone before and it just wasn't working out with what they wanted. When asked I offered to help them out when I could respond.
