So I will probably ruffle some feathers with this thought but it seems to me that two Exclusive Open Challenges is too many!
It just seems a shame that we are only getting a combined total of 120 entries in these challenges, with some recent challenges having less then 50 entries. If I remember correctly the reason we went to two challenges was the sheer number of entries back in the old days.
Just a thought and would like to see this thread a open discussion and not a rant/flame-athon!!! |

I like the two challenges because it's nice having a choice. I don't have any shot glasses and had no desire to purchase any. So it was nice having a choice. (I would have much rather had a better choice... :) |

I'm relatively new to DPC and I like having the option to pick out of two. Usually one out of the two feels doable to me.

yep 2 is a keeper. As said its the choice, some subjects suit some dont. Even with 2 this week was a washout for me

I say keep 2 as well. Not only is it good to have a choice, but it is good to have more time to look at the entries, enjoy them, and give a considered vote, when there are not huge numbers of them.

I wish we had more challenges truthfully. I like having the big variety even though I haven't participated in a while. |

We certainly don`t need them anymore but we like them.
Back in the DPC heydays there were like 3-6 hundred entries when it was a single challenge.
What this place needs is more members. |

Of course if we went back to one choice, we could double the quality of the choices since those who do such things would only have to come up with one good one a week. |

I'm only quite new too but I prefer having the choice of two challenges. If one isn't something I fancy then at least I've something else to have a go at. |

The way I see it, the fewer entries, the better chance I have of eventually winning ;-)
Jokes aside, I do like the a choice, but I also agree with the fact that the challenges themselves might be better if only one had to be thought of per week. |
