If you have a "bulb" or long exposure setting, you can use the "original shutter system" of holding a black card over the lens between "exposures." |

I'm sure this is stating the obvious, but you can just take two pictures of the same thing (tripod recommended) with something different in the second picture, and then combine them in Photoshop.

Look throught the Learn... How'd they do that section and you will find some cool long exposure stuff like Long Exposure

Exactly right, GeneralE. That's where the long exposure comes in, but it takes a bit more effort.

It's sorta funny, in the days of glass plates to get a multiple image you exposed, the covered the lens, re-set the shot, then exposed again. Then film alowed a rewind (or non advance) after an exposure. Now to make it legal for basic editing we use the old glass plate technique. Modern marvles of the digital age.
