I have to validate my entry to a recent challenge.I have sent what I thought was the original but have been told it is not and I must send one that has not been sent through Lightroom.
How is the best way to do this ? I have done it before without any problem but have since lost some if not all of my marbles !
I have had my entry for the Art challenge removed as apparently it was not the original i submitted when asked!

| I thought LR didn't affect the validity of an image - I have had images validated that have been through LR. I don't suppose the photo could still be on your memory card? |

First, don't use anything other than a direct file transfer to get the photos onto your computer.
Any chance you still have the photo on your memory card?

| If a .jpg has been "touched" by a program like Lightroom, or Photoshop, etc., that renders it invalid as an original for our purposes. If you shot it in RAW, that's the file we need... otherwise, we need to have the unaltered original, exactly as it came from the camera. Like others have said, if you still have the shot on your card, copy it right from the card without using an intermediate program to transfer the file. |

Thanks for the replies,I have sent what I think is the original ist image I have.
Will be shooting in RAW for alll challenges in future.
Only use it at times presently.
