| It never ceases to amaze me that when a challenge is ending all of sudden the score seems to drop. Makes me wonder why? |

I think it comes from a few reasons.
1. People who voted on their favorites already come back to vote on the rest of the challenge.
2. People who are whipping through the entries just before close of voting and didn't vote earlier because they don't much like the challenge.
3. People who are doing fine tuning on their votes to move scores up and down a bit, and that shift in score has a larger percentile shift in the effected score
4. People who's images are not doing well and feel the need to level the field for their own entries.
I thought as a challenge it was a good group (better IMHO than the warm challenge) and I gave and average score of 5.8350.

Are you sure??? I have not been around long enough to see trends, but is seems a bit odd that my score would drop over a 1 point on the last day with just a few votes...I'm sorry but that makes me wonder. |

You know Brian, I'm not sure I would agree with you there. I've been around quite a long time and have not seen this level of decrease at the eleventh hour before. Although I'm not in cool, I'm in warm, my score has dropped from 5.67 to 5.62 in the last 5 votes, all of which have come in the last 15 minutes.

I'm in Warm too and the exact same thing has happened to me>. :-( I hope we are not having another voter problem like we had in the Weston challenge and I hope the SC is able to keep an eye on those late lowball voters. |
