Does the 48 hour challenge end on 1/1/2003 at 11:59pm?

On Jan. 1, as the clock rolls from 11:59:59 PM to midnight it will close...by 12:01:01 AM on Jan. 2 it will be too late.
ALL TIMES ARE EASTERN US TIME!
Adjust for your local time zone accordingly...
