I have received 9 comments on my entry (thank you)....most of those were favorable...thank you again! Now to the scoring...it surprised me to be honest!
6 ones, 5 twos,8 threes, 33 fours, 49 fives,52 sixes,25 sevens, 6 eights, 3 nines and 1 ten(a special thank you to you!) also want to thank those that gave such low scores, simply because I now no longer feel bad about the scoring at all. I used to think that those who were giving score points were giving them on meeting the challenge, abilitiy to capture a subject and quality of photography. I believe I have once given a 1 as a score because the photographer decided to just show a white page which I felt did neither meet the challenge nor capture any subject (don't remember the theme) and the quality was invisible really.
Those who gave such low scores really made me understand that it is not about those qualities mentioned above but rather taste, or to put it simpler like or dislike. So I thank you especially for opening my eyes about that! :)

decent placement in the other challenge, but I got more ones than you did.

Illegitimi non carborundum, shrug the idiots off, listen to the comments.

Well straight off the bat looking at your profile... your average score is higher than mine despite my top shots being higher scored then yours. So personally I wouldn't complain!

Now looking at individual shots... For example your bits and peices entry, that was a high scoring challenge and you placed well. While i don't like say shot 9 in that challenge I think a 5.7 is dead on you cant always score a 6. Thats a simple shot so not great for realistic comparison. Your stove top entry creative yet again simple, scored well for what it is and shot well for what it is. If i entered it I would expect a 4.8 if I was voting on it I would give it a 5 for meeting challenge and focus. It score a 5.6 I wouldnt complain.

Your Layers and Sentinel entrys are much better photographs then anything else in your top 6 when you dont look at the challenges. Something about the processing on the Sentinel entry kills it. Looks like sharpening artifacts creating a contrast border between the sky and the subject. But its very monotonous. If i had to pick your best shot from the top 6 its the Layers entry.

Misses Pepper and her litter of 7, Free Floating, and Just Me and My Shadow.... would be my pics from you. Your highest scoring shot while a nice location, just doesnt do it for me.

Thank you for taking the time and looking through my portfolio and for your comments! I really appreciate your honesty and comments! I did want to say so that my overall score does not bother me. I did have an issue with super low scores...
you were also right on with your other comments and since I really do not know how to use photoshop I should stay away from advanced editing challenges. I do believe that to be an art in itself. Thanks again!
