Just got a couple of wizards to help with my off cam speedlight education.

I just shot a few quick ones to get to know the wizard. However, for some reason I'm getting mixed results. The instructions are very simple so there is really nothing else to learn there.

It seems that when I use the D90 self timer for a self shot, the wizard may not fire the flash at times.
Another thing I notice...when I put the flash and wizard down...shoot a few and then move the flash to another spot, I have to "retest" before it will fire again when cam fires. Is this normal? Am I somehow blocking the radio waves ?

Other than that, when I put the flash/wizard down and then shoot...I can move all over the room with the cam shooting as fast as the flash will reload...which is good !

I'll post more when I shoot something more interesting than plastic flowers on a messy desk !
