		Here's SEP2 used as a luminance layer on a color image. Duped the SEP2 layer and set the dupe as "color" mode and faded the color. Original in notes.

		Along Bear's lines -- this image was created with SEP2:
 
  
 
 I wanted it to be a little moodier and darker, but when I played with the levels, it also messed with the saturation. I could have changed that as well, but I experimented with SEP2. I created a layer of SEP2, I believe I used one of the low key settings. Then I changed the blend mode of that layer to overlay and the opacity to 93%. I did have to bring up the levels on the image first, but it created the moodiness and softer tones for which I was looking. |
