Shouldn't there have been a new challenge announced after What DPC Loves went into voting?
03/21/2011 07:48:54 AM · #2
yeah, challenges seem to starting off-schedule lately.

i wish they finally decided to move the monday challenges to a saturday. some people wait for rollover late sunday night and wake up to go to work early on monday.

yeah but then it would end on Saturday night, we'd lose all day Sunday to shoot.

I agree with Mike -- I need the full weekend to try to get a decent shot.

ditto - I too need the entire weekend and like it the way it is. As for challenges being announced late, well I personally don't think it has happened all that often. Besides, Langdon has brought us such a wonderful site, free to many, and inexpensive to those of us paying members that I am not complaining.

But we're losing vital shooting time!!!!!

Well, I'm not, I usually shoot last minute or enter something I happen to have taken that fits, but some might :)

It's a non-free study... you have to pay us to find out what the topic is.

This always seems to happen when i have the day off and it`s bright and sunny out.
Somebody kick Langdon out off bed.

And it's a public holiday here in South Africa. Trouble is it's almost 5pm and will be getting dark soon. So that's a day's photo opportunities wasted!

Hey I got an invite to a hidden dpc challenge. Anyone else?

It's an Edward Weston challenge!

Challenge Description:
Take an abstract black and white photograph that reflects Weston's heightened sense of form. Exclusive to everyone who did not rant about not having this challenge so soon.

This is so cool!

New challenge is unknown. Several days of snow, rain, wind headed my way. I'm headed out to photograph things in my world... today, while I can. I'll backward shoehorn in something with 20/20 hindsight. This is how shoehorns are born. Hoping for a challenge which includes nature, wildlife, HDR, B&W and landscape.

all the wineglasses and water drops in the recent challenge broke the site.

"Subway Graffiti"

I saw someone had carved their initials in the trunk of an aspen tree. I'll get a snapshot of that.... just in case.
