....light meter. Starting to work with portraits and I'm going through too much trial and error.
Anyone have one they want to sell?

| I've seen quality ones up on craigslist periodically, so that might be worth checking into. I've seen them there much more often than on here, at any rate. |

| You could post a WTB in the Buy/Sell section, of course that would require you to buy a monthly membership. |

If you have Einsteins (or even ABs) their Cyber Commander incorporates a light meter (and it triggers your lights). It is not the simplest UI around, but is also able to control your light settings remotely (with Einsteins especically).
I have both the CC and a Sekonic L358. I use the sekonic for metering. If you use pocket wizard triggers already, or plan to, there is a PW module that will install into the 358 so it will act as a trigger when metering.
If you look up Mark Wallace/Adorama videos on YouTube, he has a video on using light meters that might be helpful to you. |
