For the record I don't think this suggestion was a bad idea, just because some people wouldn't know about it doesn't automatically rule it out. Usually they put these kind of challenges in with another challenge so you have an option. Like the "Monty Python" challenge or "In the style of librodo" challenge
I do think he is wrong in his method of suggesting challenges to find one he is interested it. I think if you want to grow as a photographer you should enter as many challenges as possible and find ways to photograph them in your own style. You don't have to "shoehorn" and entry to do this. |

Some people enjoy stirring the pot. But it comes off differently when you are a newbie on the site as opposed to being an established member. A little diplomacy goes a long way.
