Purchased about $400.00 worth of gear from alzodigital. This included a small softbox and a large softbox amoung other things.
All arrived in time promised via UPS. Upon unboxing I found that one small important part used for connecting the softbox ring to the lightstand bracket was missing. Without this part, mounting is impossible.
I emailed the next day and explained. I got a prompt email back saying part will be shipped soon. I got an email later that day from the same person saying that the part was shipped via priority mail and he included a tracking number.
I checked the tracking number that night and saw that it was no good. It said the USPS did not have a record of it.
I sent another email and asked if he could check this out for me. A few hours later I received a reply from the same person saying that the package was sent and that the tracking number was correct and I should have the package "tomorrow".
Part did not come "tomorrow" (Wednesday) so I emailed back. Same guy said, it is on its way. If I don't have it by Friday to let him know.
Well Friday's mail came and NO PART !!!
I emaied again and asked that another part be sent out today via UPS with a working tracking number. I got a prompt reply from a DIFFERENT person saying the part had been on backorder and was being shipped today and I should have it next week !
Oh well....If I don't have it Tuesday, the credit card company will help me.
EDIT: I forgot that the parent name is Akces Media, LLC and I did check them on the BBB before ordering...they have an A+ rating.

That can be very frustrating, waiting for a part that you really, really need! Since this has happened to you, it might be a good idea for any future buyers to ask "Are you positive it isn't on backorder and that you aren't sh****ng me?"
