I just picked up a Sony Mavica FD85 1.2 MP MPEG and Still Camera with a 4Xfloppy drive capture system. For FREE. God this camera brings back memories from 12 years ago. LOL.

That does bring back memories! The FD90 was my first digital camera. In fact, one of the very first images I took with that camera was published in the New York Times, as well as a handful of astronomy magazines :-) Enjoy it!

I just wanted it for sentimental value. When I worked in tech sales, I remember them rolling those out as the hottest most amazing digial camera around. I can hardly wait to find a way to charge the L ION and take some shots just for fun.

I remember that camera.

My first was the Kodak DC-40 (1996).

Whoa! Reminds me of the other day when I had to work with a 1999 Mac G5! :)

it is actually envy (sorry couldn't resist)

Nice find.

I have a Sony Mavica CD400 that shoots to mini-CDs. It is actually a pretty good camera that my wife usually prefers. Makes great pics up to 8x10 in most conditions.
