Was going to enter this into the negative space challenge but pulled at the last minute. All the talk about what people would DNMC on this one scared me that I would fail. Probably a dumb move but oh well. I just wanted to at least get it out in the world and get opinions since I pulled it.

I don't think you'd have done especially well with this in the challenge, however IMO it would have been more on-topic than a lot of other entries are.

No offence, but the negative space in this image is negligeable at best and the subject is truly not one that would entice me to spend a great deal of time looking at it.

Not a bad image quality wise, but somewhat lacking as it relates to the challenge topic and objectives.

I would not have scored this any higher than a 5.

I like the angle, and the lighting also works. But as others have noted, this does NOT say "negative space" to me.
