I'm disappointed. I'd shot all the pictures for the book, but got distracted towards the end of the month. Guess there isn't always next year...

I browsed through some of those posted here. Quite impressed. I particularly liked CPN's Convergence. Too bad the site is to be taken down.

For those looking into publishing and sharing your own photobooks, HP's online publishing, MagCloud.com also offers photographers an avenue to create your downloadable portfolio, product sample, or whatever you call them, in magazine format. Free. The ipad interface is so cool. But thosr without ipad can view the books shared by others as regular pdf. It works with your flickr sets too. There is also an option for sales, for those who want to monetize their works.

Its not exclusive to photography as it is a magazine publishing in general, but there are lots of photobooks to enjoy in the photography section.

while it's a bummer that SoFoBoMo as is will be no more, i don't think the idea will fade away. it was an inspirational, motivational project for me that i really enjoyed the past three years and i would not surprised if it resurfaced under a new name.
