If someone has requested a photo to be DQed, is it possible for the owner of the photo to be informed of the reason why, we don't need to know who requested it,

this photo was requested to be DQed

as I think members thought it was computer Generated which it wasn't, I just think it would be helpful ...

We don't do that as a matter of policy ... one of the things it would "help" is an actual cheater to know what we were looking for ...

If your photo is legal, just send it in and everything will be fine.

This subject was raised before and having had a few DQ requests on previous submissions I was interested in finding out what it was I was doing that was causing the problem.
I did suggest informing the submitter of what the problem was AFTER the image had been validated..but didn`t get any answer as to why this couldn`t be done.

It is difficult to imagine why anyone would request a DQ on this image. It is pretty obvious that is a straightforward exposure with superb lighting.

If you've adhered to the rules, you just shouldn't worry about it; the reason for the DQ request could be any one (or more) of a number of things, but is immaterial unless you actually get DQ'd. If you actually do get DQ'd, you will always be told why. That's important, of course, so you can avoid the mistake in the future. If you are not DQ'd, however, then the "why" of the request is really irrelevant.
