I've been having a problem since I've gotten my 50D and only now has it truly come to bother me. I took some great shots last night and uploaded them. When I open Bridge, the thumbnails look exactly the way I want, until you click on them and then it changes to the Camera Raw default.
I tried changing the camera defaults to all zeros...except then the photo becomes very dull and dark. I try to do the standard defaults and the colors change (reds become oranger face, contrast too dark, shadows lose detail). I just want the image to open in camera just as I shot it...and it won't let me do that. I click the image settings default and it's the same as the camera raw defaults. No matter what i do, my photo changes (including the thumbnail) to something other than what I shot.
Anyone have any help on how to stop this? |

| No but I'd start by making sure you are all on the same color profile. That is, in your camera and in in Bridge and ACR. If you open the dialogue in Bridge I think I remember that one being pretty helpful. |

That was actually the first thing I checked. Unfortunatelythats not it, that would have been easy to fix. Right now I adjusted camera raw defaults to look somewhat close but it still doesn't match. |
