Yay! Someone thought of a thread title, I just couldn't think of anything clever.
I am feeling the love right now! But its only 2 votes. Voting is going slowly, but it is an off night so I didn't have high expectations. |

Went 5, 5.5, 5.2, 5.16667, 5.0 and I know this image coulda been a 6 any other day. I may have made one bad choice but the image is the best thing I have ever shot.

Au contraire...........my entry is scoring very well and aside from a little bit of cloning it's all basic editing! |

I used Advanced editing on my entry, but still nothing fancy. No multiple captures. Score doing well.
ETA: It's not even the first 24 hours of voting yet, Katie! Just sit back and enjoy(?) the ride :-)

Mine has nowhere to dive from. The consensus is that it is worth 5. Early votes were: 5, 5, 5, 6, 4, 6,, 5, 5, 5. It's now sitting at 5.2 after 20 votes. Funny thing is that everyone who has seen the print loves it -- even the tech at Costco who printed it. |

I know that there were postings on this subject (too elaborate for my stiff mind) but how do you know exactly the marks that you got so far? Don't you get just the average? Sorry for the ignorance. |

no problem!
klkitchens has an excel spreadsheet on his profile that you can download. You enter the averages as you update, and it tells you the scores you received.
There are also other options, but this is the one I use.

Thank you Wendy. It probably works even if there is a change of mark from the same voter, right? Do you find yourself going back to change a mark?
I normally wait for all results to be posted. Esp. sine I vacillate between 4.5 and 5.8, my level so far. |

Well, I was wrong about the score being too low to take a dive. Evidently there is a low diving board in this pool. My score is now down to 4.8 at 35 votes. |

If they make a change, you just change the average, not the number of votes. If you make two entries, both with the same number of votes, it doesn't work.
