My neighbor, who has won several ribbons (not dpc related), and has been asked to give a tutorial at the local camera club in our county, loves my work and has asked me to show him more.

I submit stuff here and my average score is 4.7! *CRIES* I just want one ribbon, then ill be ok for a few more months.

Hopefully with the start of school coming in september, and joining the camera club myself, and of course all you wonderful helpers here at DPC (many to whom I owe great gratitude towards because I have learned a lot more than I would have by reading) I hope to start racking in some ribbons =) I love photography and really cant imagine doing anything BUT that for the rest of my life.

Basically I wanna thank everyone for putting up with my shannanigans =)

Soon enough you will see my name in the lights!

First of all, your average should go up with the Rebel. Second of all, you have a couple 3.x shots early on that hurt your average. Third of all, I want a ribbon (without DQ) before you.

:)

Just keep shooting. I was here for 14 months before I finished top 3. I still need to do it again for "real."
