Why would it be that i have 145 views and only 118 votes?
Does someone view my picture and say, eeh im not even going to vote.?
If i view i vote and comment.
Just curious

That's possible. I know sometimes I am viewing a photo and then I have to close my browser to do something and I didn't get to vote yet. I come back later though because I like to view each photo for about 30 sec to 1 min before I vote.
What I find strange is that I have more votes than views at times. How is that possible?

That should have only been possible during the challenges that were running when the feature was "announced". It shouldn't be happening in any of the current challenges.
Chas: some people like to go through all the photos before starting to vote, or sometimes people click on thumbnails after going "ooh, what's that?" when the pictures are first made available for "public viewing". They then come back and vote later, which would result in multiple views of your photo, potentially by the same person. Also, if somebody decides to change their vote during another session, they "view" your picture again, which increments the view count but not the vote count. |
