I recently ordered another RF-602 receiver for my flash triggers, trying out a new-to-me retailer on Ebay with an inexpensive item. They sent me a receiver, but it was a completely different make & model from what I had ordered. They have since sent me the correct item, but they did not request the incorrect first one back.

The incorrect item does not have a hotshoe, but looks like it connects to a sync port by an audio mono jack. I am trying to figure out if this might be compatible with my RF-602 transmitter.I can't find any information to tell me what frequency band this works on, and don't know if the channels set by the dip switches would be the same or not. Does anyone have any knowledge of cross utilizing these different makes of poverty wizards? Thanks.

Got the answer from someone in the Yongnou user group on Flickr. The RD604 I received by accident is a 433 Mhz receiver and the RF-602's operate at 2.4 Ghz. Completely incompatible.

If anyone has some triggers that they think this receiver will work with, you can have it for the postage, which will likely be around $5 US.
