I was just wondering if anyone else had had problems with these guys in the UK.
I ordered a bunch of film and developing stuff totaling around £370 (including a lovely new OpticFilm scanner), from them on the 18th Jan, and as their website said they aim to deliver within 1 to 2 working days (subject to availability), I was pretty confident I would have it to take on my trip to the Scottish Highlands.
When I hadn't heard anything in 5 days I gave them a call, only to be told that the total order was being held up because 2 of the items (about £13's worth of the order) weren't in stock.
It didn't get there on time, which wasn't a major issue, it just meant I had to stop at the local chemist for a few rolls of film, but it did turn up on 31st Jan, almost 2 weeks later while I was away.
I just got back yesterday, opened my big box up (very exciting) only to discover that two of the items were missing, the changing bag and a bottle of wetting agent, meaning I stil can't process my film!!!
I called them this morning, I got a girl saying she would have to pass it to her colleague, so I gave them my name, number and order number just to make it easy for them and also so they can check my account details and mobile number they have on record, but of course that was two hours ago and they haven't called back.
So, has anyone else has had problems with these guys or have I just been unlucky? Any recommendation as to who I should use in the future for this stuff?
ETA: I'll let you know how I get on with them if they ever call back!
