Just thought some may be interested in this short article:

Using an Old Deardorff 8x10

Besides the obvious downside of size and weight I would think the chemical issues would cause concern. But looks pretty cool.

that's pretty cool. i'll bet that by shooting with that type of camera he could attract all kinds of attention to his work and get plenty of customers.

i've been watching another guy that does this and he holds workshops for people who want to learn. his flickr site
