that was my thought

Well the FL Game & Wildlife and Coastguard are not going to get involved in 'pick-up' but other agencies might ...especially after the 16 year gave this statement "Harrington and his mother said they are prepared to retrieve the piano. "It's just another adventure," the teen said. "

From this article which has a Jan. 2 2011 picture that proves that the piano is his
Mystery solved: Teen put piano on sandbar

I of course think that the photo needs validation;-);-P

There is another cool shot from an AP photographer who captured a freelance photographer photographing the piano with some dolphins swimming nearby. Regardless - this whole thing has been surreal.

Another "artist" climbed a mountain here in WA with a phone booth and planted it on the mountain. Apparently putting garbage in strange places makes you an artist?

Might be a good way to get the garage clean and become an artist at the same time!

Either climbing or cleaning sounds like way too much work-- I say borrow an operational plan from P.T. Barnum and put a sign out front reading

"This Way to the Exhibit"
$5.00/$2.00 for
children and seniors

and start raking in the cash ...

If it doesn't work... and it's on USFS land. If he'd have rigged a cell phone to it and made it functional maybe not. Or had permission to put it there.

Drop it off on the 520 floating bridge about 4pm today, call it an artistic protest to the upcoming tolls. You'll have to come up with some meaning in there.

"They're taking us to the cleaners!" or "Don't let them hang us out to dry!"?
Weak. I'll give it more thought.
