'A New Yorker who writes and directs comedy videos is on a quest to find the people who shot a roll of striking black-and-white photos of the city that he found in a park.'
There are some really lovely shots on the roll. Time magazine has even noted the story in it's online site

Someplace there's a whole website devoted to reuniting people with their lost cameras and/or film -- wish I could remember its name ... :-( |

I thought this story had received a bit more attention than this.
Anyway, seems the guy found the photographer

Quite a nice ending to this story.
