I would like to know everybody's opinions on my first attempt at taking pictures of flowers. They are all in my grandmother's backyard and I've always thought flowers just weren't the easiest thing to get a pretty picture of. And I still don't think I did a great job. the link is below. They are really nice shots. The first two are very pretty.

In my opinion... I think your close-ups with shallow depth of field are gorgeous (centerflower, 13, 34, 80). The ones where you pull back to get more of the plant just seem too ... "unfulfilling".

Keep it up, you've got some great shots there!

I am still editing some of those pictures. All but the obvious edited one...are not touched so far. I used my Olympus Camedia c-740 uz and was suprised that I was able to get that close and still be in focus. I don't have a Digital SLR yet..but I am saving my money. i am very much NOT professional..but I do sell some prints on my website..
