Approximately ... in the recent past ... as a general hint: if you are interested in a challenge topic, post it as a web site suggestion, but try to refrain from anything to do with scheduling.
Part of the value and fun of DPC is the unexpectness of the challenge postings, of giving everyone an even start at thinking up and executing a suitable photo. If people are expecting a challenge -- for a particular holiday, for example -- we will sometimes be forced to actually avoid that topic, especially if it has been extensively discussed in the forums beforehand.
People were really geared up for a Valentine's Day challenge, but they weren't quite prepared for ... Black |
