| Normally I would probaly be bitching about my FS score, but as it's edging quietly up towards a solid 6, I really can't complain :-) |

I figured this wouldn't be to everyone's taste, so I'm not disappointed in the votes and the slow drop, but no comments at 80+ votes tells me I'm not really connecting with anyone. I thought it was pretty darn good, but it's still lacking something, it appears.

Still doing well and moving up slowly. I'm happy with this as I haven't entered anything in at least a month. It would be great if this could break my top 5 for a change.

I posted the score cuz I think its ridiculous! Like I said I didnt think this image deserved better than a 7 score.

I actually feel the same way about my own entry. But then on the other hand in the past I have had low scoring entries that I felt deserved to score higher then they did.

Well for a free study I can't complain and it's doing better than expected. 6 is all I wanted. Not my usual style of photo but glad I got lucky with this photo. Being into landscapes my reflexes rather replicates that of a doped snail.

That's nice of you to say - I actually thought I'd lost my way a little with this comment series and this was going to be the last set. You've inspired me to try to continue.
The 'logo' associated with the award was always rubbish so I'll produce a new one (with an eye motif) which I'll dish out from this challenge forwards.
I do need to get better at specifically targeting those images that don't necessarily jump out at a first viewing though - I think I've lost that over the year or so I've been doing this.

I hate that. sometimes, I'd just rather it be down in the 5.8s just to alleviate the stress. |
