I've just discovered the ability to record video and audio on my new laptop. I know it's there, but just am not quite sure how to harness it.

Any guidance you might be able to give me would surely benefit society.

Help me, please! It's for your own good!

It's an Asus G73JW-A1. It has a web cam and mic built into the screen, which I've never experienced before.
There must be simple way to corrupt society!

ahaha thats a gaming laptop, it can defiantly handle video recording. Just google any software that will record for a PC, I know a few for mac but thats not helpful. Ustream Producer would work fine, except you'd have to be broadcasting live in order to record, which could lead to some embarrassing youtube videos.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I like Cyberlink Powerdirector as a video editing tool. It comes as part of a suite with a nice CD/DVD burning utility. Very good stuff...

After Nero went to the quality junkyard, I needed something good for CD burning, and this was the next best thing. The suite is the cheapest way to buy. There's a trial to.

If that's what you're asking.

There's a good site for info all aspects of video recording and authoring too...
