| Actually quite a few images that don't really show a horizon at all and also quite a few where the horizon line is not the dominant component as per the description of the challenge at all. |

It doesn't have to be the dominant component -- just a dominant component.

(I always wonder what score I'll have in the morning, and I always anticipate what the lowest score could be. I was thinking 5.7 for lowest. Then I changed it to 5.4. I like this much better!!)

Oh drat... so much for my score staying up here. I just looked at the challenge. My husband thought it was a dull set of photos, but I completely disagree. I think there are a lot of wonderful shots. Some are very striking, some are sweet and simple. But many that I like better than mine.

I've been plummeting since I posted. The recent 3 has turned the plummet into an avalanche. You can fall so fast when it's this early. :(

Score actually rose overnight. All of my landscapes seem to be in the 6.1 category, not complaining just wish I knew how to break that barrier. |

I suggest looking at some of the landscapes that Hahn23 does with similar subject material.

Its funny that you say that. I got accused as being Hahn23 on one of the comments on my free study, which I took to be a huge compliment. Still its sitting at a high 6.1. At any rate I took a look at his work, great stuff! I see what mine is missing compared to his, but I don't posses the knowledge to fix it. :) |
