These are just amazing! I wish I was the one taking them. I think I would have edited them better. Amazing none the less.

Amazingly good. I don't see anything much wrong with the editing, either... When you're documenting a natural phenomenon, there's a limit to how far you want to push it. I have no idea how much these have been edited, but they are really, really impressive.

I suppose your right, still some are a bit noisy. I suppose it from how far away he probably was. I don't think I would have wanted to be too close to anything like that either.
I am just envious, can you imagine having photo's like that to play with and enter as a free study! Just hand me the blue ribbon right now. |

Every one of them seems HDR'd beyond belief in my eyes, so I believe he's pushed it past the limit. Telltale haze, noise, soft and unnatural colors. Even his self portrait is HDR.
I think RianBotes is a great example of someone who can catch great weather and keep it real. |
