I wasn't around this time last year for the thread regarding taking pics of fireworks. Did a search and found the thread with mostly broken links in it.

Let's see some of your fireworks shots and any tips and tricks!

Hi all,
I took about 80 photos at PCB florida this year.I have some great shots.But I have just signed up and have not read the ruls on posting.My photos right now are 3mb each.

Providing links or using linkable thumbnails would be best as not all have a fast connections.

Here is one of my favorites that I took during Canada Day at Ontario Place.

Here's a thread you may want to peruse, and here are mine from this year.
You can look at the EXIF data to see what settings I used. Mainly shot at f/16, varying shutter speeds. I used a Tamron 19-35mm lens, on a tripod and with a remote release, in "bulb" mode. Just held the button as long as I wanted the shutter open.

Great shot.I love taking shots of fireworks.It's like fishing and taking lightning shots. You never know what your gonna catch..lol

not the greatest, but we dont get great fireworks here in woodstock, the city only has 30,000 people : (
