Find out which Element and Associated Animal you are according to your birthdate from the table of the sixty year calendar and take a picture related to one or both of these.
It's not a requirement to capture your element/animal literally, but the viewer should be able to see which one(s) you are attempting to convey.
------------------------------
I'm suggesting advanced or maybe expert editing rules (although I'm not a fan of the latter). |

What a beautifully obscure challenge topic :-) I'd like to see what the people who "don't read descriptions" make of THIS one!

Right there with you, but my element is wood, so a wooden dragon would work! |

Komodo dragons might be a liiiitle difficult to find. But anything in the lizard family seem to be popular on DPC. |

I'm lucky - if I can just lure a pig into a bath or a swimming pool then I'm away . . how hard could that be . . |

hehe - but a tiger and fire in expert edit could be a fairly decent looking image.
I'm tiger and water. |

I don't know if it would be accepted, but according to the table I would have to take a picture of a cock.. |

It'll probably force people to read the description, but since there are no special rules you can basically shoot whatever you want. If your animal/element poses a challenge then just pick a different combination from the list and or go to the prop store and then shoot your chosen subject next to the element you always do well with. If you're concern that using a toy might get some DNMC votes then just shoot it as a silhouette, problem solved.

Hmm, a wood dog with dragon overtones.
Or a dog with wood dragon overtones.
How about a nice dogwood tree, with a wreath for the dragon. |

Maybe a better and more fun challenge would be to pick any combination you'd like from the table. The picture must then include both the element and the animal. Then it would at least be more fair for everyone. |
