About 4 years ago, I purchased Ceiva brand digital picture frames for my mother and grandmother. It allowed me to upload pictures to a website and that site would download (over a phone modem) 30 pictures a night to the frame. That way I could send pictures to a grandmother that has no computer/internet connection.
Her frame has now died, and she'd like it replaced.
Ceiva is ridiculously expensive, imo. It's a $100/year subscription for each frame.
Does anyone know of any cheaper alternatives? They're both 1/2 way across the country, so I can't just swap out cards occasionally, I need remote download capabilities.
thanks!

Are they so disabled that they can't change a card? You can probably mail them a card full of new pictures for less than a dollar ... |

My husband's grandma is over 90 -- and we have two sets of grandchildren sending to the frame. So it's better to have them downloaded when available than to have her switch cards all the time.
